In November 2023 we built our first Pre School in the remote village of Poojapitiya, Kandy. At this school we help educate 55 young children during the most formative years of their life. A School Pack will help provide the basics each child requires for schooling including books, pens, pencils, a school bag, water bottle & lunch box.

As a response to the 2022 political and economic crisis in Sri Lanka, we launched the "Feeding The Future" program in collaboration with the Hemas Outreach Foundation, with a goal to address the nutritional needs of vulnerable children on the brink of malnutrition in preschools across Sri Lanka.

Future In Progress | We started by supporting 367 children and their families across 15 pre-schools with essential dry rations. Today the program supports 1,098 families across 11 of the poorest districts by providing them with vital nutritional packs.

Educational Milestone | In November this year we finished constructing and opened our first pre-school in the remote village of Poojapitiya in Kandy. Enrolling 55 children from neighbouring villages, this marks a significant landmark in providing not just nutritional support but quality education where it is needed most.

Accountability and Efficiency | To ensure full transparency and maximum impact, we keep administrative costs close to zero, make purchases at wholesale rates, undergo audits by Ernst & Young Sri Lanka and work with local nutritionists to identify the children’s needs.
